The Trails Foundation supports trails and trails builders, to create a strong community and enable more people to enjoy trails.
What are trails?
The word trails has many meanings. In this context we mean smooth, flowing bicycle jumps, berms and rollers, built using dirt.
Why support trails?
Trails are:
- fun to ride
- fun to build
- a good excuse to be outside
- good exercise
Trails are often built by volunteers on land they don’t own, and this can lead to many problems — vandalism, conflicts with landowners, and many hours of wasted work.
The Trails Foundation aims to support existing trails and trails builders, to create a strong community and enable more people to enjoy trails.
